Mindfulness-based therapy is a modern, scientific therapeutic approach based on the old eastern practice of mindfulness that encourages observing thoughts, emotions, and sensations in a non-judgemental manner, fostering a deeper understanding of one's inner self. It aims to help individuals become more self-aware, manage stress, and cope with emotional challenges. Mindfulness-based therapies are used to address various mental health issues, including anxiety and depression. Learn more about different therapies.
Anxiety is a common emotional state marked by excessive worry, fear, and physical symptoms like restlessness or rapid heartbeat. It can disrupt daily life but is treatable with therapy and medication.
Depression is a complex mental health condition characterized by persistent sadness, loss of interest or pleasure, fatigue, and changes in appetite or sleep, often requiring treatment and support for recovery.
Stress can lead to insomnia, disrupting sleep patterns and causing difficulty falling or staying asleep, resulting in a vicious cycle that exacerbates both stress and sleep problems.
